| A more precise score..
I took the first test in the blue book (no prior preperation, no outside help but I took more time than allowed), and it gives such a wide scoring margin..I was wondering what a more precise score would be:
CR: 630-710
M: 580-660
W: 620-750
Total: 1830-2120

I'm leaning toward low to medium 1900's as your grade.

Hey,
I just took the first bluebook test this morning myself.
I'd this test was slightly easier than the SAT test's I've taken, so the curve won't be as generous. I would estimate that your score is about 1920-1940. That isn't pinpoint accurate, but it's a pretty close estimate.
Also, your essay score makes a considerable difference. Essays can be graded on a +/- 1 scale. An essay intended to be 8 quality can jump up to a 9 or drop to a 7 quite often. What did you grade your essay?

Your score may not be very accurate, since I personally could do well in CR with more time, but I always either run out of time or rush to finish, which affects my score dramatically.
