Correlation between 10th grade PSAT and 12th grade SAT scores

In this thread, we post both scores for statistical comparison.

I'll start:

10th grade PSAT -- 200

12th grade SAT -- 2300

The result will be biased because your asking in a college SAT preparation forum which mostly consist of people who care about the SAT.

^ Most people who take the SAT in 12th grade first take the PSAT in 10th grade, esp. those who 'care' the most, like the people on this forum.

I'll be interested to see more stats, though.

My PSAT sucked massive. I think I would have gotten a 170 or so. I got a 2240 on the SAT so that shows how suck-a-licious the PSAT is in predicting your real score.

"I would have gotten"

What do you mean by "would have"?

Increases per year (assuming that there was an approx. 2 year gap between PSAT and SAT, also assuming that a 240 PSAT is equivalent to a 2400 SAT)

I didn't include the OP's scores because based on his/her earlier posts, s/he is lying.

Here they are:

220
310
195
145

Mean so far: 218 point increase per year

Keep posting people... the mean will become more accurate as we get more samples!
