I have been scanning the topics for all the threads, and have come across a lot of titles with the words "blue book." I have been doing SAT prep for a good seven years now, and I have never heard of the blue book. Is it just jargon for the official SAT guide from collegeboard, or is it something else?

Yep. It is the nickname for the SAT Guide from college board that is very large and bright blue.

The collegeboard one with the pretty general explanation sections but invaluable practice tests. They're the closest you can get to real ones.
