March 1st Score Reports Available: CR curve really harsh!

the CR curve for the march first test was so harsh.

i only got 2 questions wrong for CR and got a 780.
on most tests -2 is an 800.

this sucks. if i had gotten an 800, i would have a perfect score.

is everyone else's score consistent with this curve?

yes i got -1 and got an 800.
The math curve (or lack thereof) really hurt me. -1=-30. Bull.

I missed one and got an 800. But that math curve was ridiculous. 1 wrong = 770? :S

Yeah, -4 equals 730...
I don't know how this compares with other tests, but it definitely seems to be quite harsh. I remember taking a past test as a practice (legit collegeboard, not from the book, I think it was Jan 07) and getting a 780 with three wrong, so...

I think the math curve is by far the worst i've heard of, -2 = 740, that's just awful.

My friend told me that math was extremely easy, but I never thought that the curve would be that harsh! -2 means a 51.5(since you lose .25 for each wrong), right? That rounds up to a 52. So 30 per question, wow! I'm glad that I chose to skip this one the week before and postpone it for later.

well aren't the curves preset anways? So it is not based on the diffuculty of the test. Maybe based on the difficulty on the last test (january). I heard the jan. test was fairly easy compared to most.

So many people have so many takes on the curves. Some people think that it has to do with percentiles. My take is that it's more of the difficulty of the test. To A-Card, if the curve was preset, then wouldn't that mean that it would be based on the difficulty? I wouldn't make a standardized test by making a random curve or basing it off a previous test. Math wasn't extremely easy on January, so it had a nice(usual) curve. Only you guys can tell me, but my friend told me math was really easy
