| Yeah, it only grades the 14 practice test essays. But the way grading works is by number of sentences, length of sentences, big words you use, and other mechanical stuff like that. So theoretically, I have a feeling you could type any essay in there and get it graded.
The SAT graders, by the way, grade essays in like 2 minutes, so there are some things to do to give a "good impression". Make a killer intro paragraph and sound insightful and intelligent; throw in a few big words but don't overdo it; have a dead-on thesis. You don't need 3 body paragraphs either; 2 are just fine. A rumor I have heard is that 12s are more easily given to those essays which completely fill the 2 pages. I got a 12 on my essay, and indeed I did fill up 2 pages completely. |
