^ OHHH I sort of remember it. It was the one with an 'a' too... and basically all you had to do was put both equations equal to 'a' and then set them equal to each other... are you seeing what I mean?
(I don't remember the answer)...

I think it was something like 3x/10? Dunno.

.. hmm... I made up numbers that fit both of the equations and got something different.. I am not sure what I put but I remember some choices were like 1/9x something, 1/3x to some power, and like 1/2x... I think..

I don't remember it (the answer)... but I know which question you're talking about. I was about to make a silly mistake on it but caught it. Phew.

Yeah, I caught myself making a mistake on that one too... but I am still not sure if I actually got it right although I did double check it with my made up numbers that fit the two eqs.

... Well good luck.

Remember any other questions?
This is weird... I mean we just took the SAT, and we can't even remember. This is actually really horrible. Makes me feel like a goldfish... not that being a goldfish is bad... or anything. Um.

anyone remember what the inequality one was?

was it: -3 =< 6x-1 < 3 ?

and then -1/3 <= x < 2/3 ?

also on the more males than females one, what were the exact numbers? was it 32 more males than females since 30 more males than females with 212 total would give 121? but that isn't right cause I think I got 122

mcgyver, yep I remember that one.
That's what I had.

So, basically on the numberline, you had to have a closed dot at -1/3 and an open dot at 2/3.

narcissa, do you remember a question like what was y in terms of x? I don't really remember the formulas they gave you but it was something like
y = 1/3x + n and x = n + something

i just thought of one that i haven't seen mentioned, but i almost got it wrong.

i think it went something like this:

abs(f(x))= f(x) (don't remember what the equation was)
What is the least possible integer that satisfies this equation? i think i put 3?
A)0
B)1
C)2
D)3
E)4

.. anyone remember this one?
