I will go ballistic if I didnt get 800 math, but I'm feeling a 740-700 cr and a 75-770 writing. Hopefully it will be a 2300. My last chance.

Subject tests are annoying. I think if I've taken x number
of APs, they can count as subject tests. Ugh I think I'm going to have to take 2 in June and then one, maybe two in fall.

I'm with eeeeric. Although I wouldn't mind a 2200+. But I'm doubting it.
In fact, I'm doubting 2000+ right now.

Did anyone else go back and view his/her last SAT essay on collegeboard.com to make himself/herself feel better about the essay this time?
lol.
After reading my last essay, I did feel that this time I wrote bulls.hit to a lesser degree. Sigh.

I am def. doubting myself too much. I looked at my 1st essay and it was very simplistic, but my examples were good. but for this one, i used only a personal example and made it in a form of a narrative......

^ What was your score last time?
I don't know how you incorporated a personal example in the *technology* essay (did you get that topic?)... I won't say I've not read an essay with a personal example that received a high score, but I will say that those are very few instances. Good luck though!

Hey, so I posted under this topic but only one person answered my question. Seeing that this thread is popular and that you guys and girls know a lot about the SAT, it would be great if you could answer my question.

I have taken a kaplan course, and during that time i took 4 practice tests. One CR section i thought was pretty hard had a curve of 10 wrong = 700. What do you think are the chances of the matching the may curve.

2) how many wrong do you think will equal a 660, 670, or 680

Thanks

Feed: I got a 10 last time w/ the conventional history example(s). For this essay though, I wrote a narrative about my brother changing his study habits/getting bad grades after my parents got him a computer and a cell phone. Gosh, I hope it does not suck.

@Rferns -
1. I cannot compare the practice test YOU took with the May test. Besides, practice tests are harder than the real SAT, so I think there's a fat chance 10 wrong would be 700, but you could always hope.

2. I think 7/8 wrong = 690 on this test.
That last one I took (in March), was compartively easier than the May one. I got 6 wrong and got a 690.

Good luck!

@Vicky - That's great! You got a 10! (Shows you have great writing skills!)
I got an 8 last time, I did really bad. But this time I feel I did much better.
Well, that's not a bad example (bro one). I mean, it relates to the topic, and if you presented your argument appropriately, I'm sure you can at least pull off a 9.
I said 'at least'.

Good luck!

Only 5.1 days left guys!
