| I feel like I'm subject to the whims of CollegeBoard over the course of this entire month. SAT 1s...APs...SAT 2s (in June, still close though).
How did this acorn-logo'd company manage to gain so much influence over our lives? Hell even our futures...15 days and counting |

| Look on the bright side guys... you have 15 days (which, in an hour and 15 mins would be 14)... to prepare your mind for the worst.
Plus, summer starts in almost a month! |

| @Quick - I used Barron's 2400 ... it was awesome! I got quite a few wrong, but on practice tests, I applied their techniques, and it really worked for me (I don't know... you might find it redundant). As for the essay, well, I looked up past prompts on Google, and wrote as much as possible. I wrote one essay every day 2 weeks before the test.
@Narcissa - CR: 5 weeks. W: 2 weeks. M: 3 weeks. So basically about a month of studying. I didn't study any vocab though. |

| O.o that's kind of what I did. I think I only missed like 1 W MC and beforehand I was missing like 4 or 5. For the essay, what is CB looking for in a 10/11 essay? If I like had a sound argument and two concrete examples would that result in a 10? |

| ^ Did you sentence structure vary, and did you sprinkle good vocab here and there?
If yes, you have a strong shot at 10. |

| @Feed, my sentence had a lot of variation and I am very good at using transitions. As for vocabulary, I used 3 or 6 good vocab. Is this good enough for a 10?
Gotta go sleep, peace! |

| ^ I think it is... what was your thesis/topic? And examples?
Basically if your opening para was good, and your topic sentences for your body paras were good, and your last sentence was good, you should get at LEAST a 9. I knew an aunt's friend who was an SAT grader, and she told me these are the things CB tells them to look at:
1. Intro.
2. Well-established thesis.
3. AT LEAST 2 examples (I know you might have read an essay or two that only used 1 example... but CB graders are *trained* to look for 2 examples).
4. Conclusion.
They don't care much about what BS you put in the middle ...an SAT grader has like 1000 essays to read per day. They just glance at the body paras and see if you used good vocab too.
Good luck! |

| Count of Monte Cristo = Epitome of AWESOME.
Lol, Narcissa... I just got an image of an Asian guy (quick ) reading Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility... AND enjoying it. Haha.
On the reals, classics are great. Read Jules Verne if you have time. |
