| Don't use the analogies section, though, it's no longer on the test. |

| How do you guys check answers for the CB? I mean, like how they came up with the answers. The Blue Book has no explanations. |

| You need the Testmasters Complete Solutions book. They have it at Amazon, but the last time I looked it was out of stock. And lately Amazon has been really slow at shipping, so I'd look elsewhere. |

| Hmm...I disagree.
Sometimes not working through the problems can cause you to fall into traps.
And the SAT alots much more time than the rival test, the ACT, so I think the focus on the SAT should be more on accuracy than finishing fast. |

| Could you define the important information that is impossible to find?
Please realize that this started as a simple post answering a request to condense hundreds of previous posts. The purpose was to offer a small roadmap and a few hints. It was never meant to be an all-encompassing "method" or "guide." Since I wrote the posts in this thread many years ago, College Confidential has exploded in size and helpful tools. However, the principles of not looking for shortcuts to replace a dedicated preparation remain the same!
For what it is worth, looking everywhere for scattered information is part of the process, and in my eyes, one of the fun parts of the "voyage." |

| zainuu, do you think you could upload that pdf please? I'm also looking for some of the shortcuts that have been mentioned earlier in the thread, like the distance problem one where you multiply 2 * speed 1 * speed / (speed 1 + speed 2). Does anyone have any more of those formulas that can quickly solve a problem? |

| Why is there a need to upload files that are ... right here? How hard is it to scroll up a couple of pages for ... three posts?
See for example: Xiggi's SAT prep advice
Pretty silly, if you ask me! |
