Online SAT prep Pre-Test Ridiculously hard?

I am using the online SAT course prep thing (60$) and took the 6th practice exam and got a 2050. Then I went back and tried to take the pre-test and found that it was ridiculously harder than any other SATs that I've taken. Did CB make the pre-test harder on purpose so as to make it appear as if you improved your score?

No, I don't think so. Fluctuations do occur between practice tests though, so if it's only like 50-100 points, it's not that big of a deal.

aw.. that's depressing - but the pre-test was just soo hard for some reason!
