I can narrow it down to two or three choices... but then what?

On numerous questions, I end up narrowing my answers to about 2 or 3 choices that are all quite closely related.. but then I get stumped. How do you guys go about picking out the right one even if the other ones look like they could also be right?

Understand that there is only 1 correct answer for every question. The other 4 have to be wrong in some way. Drill this into your head. Then, look at the question again.

find one single word that makes a choice wrong, and eliminate.
