The next four years of my life could be determined on Sat.morning. Who's with me?!

I'm so nervous. SAT is less than 48 hours away & I'm aiming for the Ivies!!!!

Last SAT(March): 2100
Predicted score(Nov): 2250

although it would be nice to get a 2300+, i'd be happy if I got that

Oh man, I'm in the exact same boat! Except my first choice is a LAC (CMC ftw!) rather than an Ivy.
Last SAT:2110
Hopeful Score:2200+
Please please please...if I miss stupid sentence completion and EASY passage reading questions again I am going to be so upset!

I have been waiting for November 7 since I received my October scores. I only received a 2340, which, according to my practices scores, is an underperformance.

And yes, I agree. The SAT goes a long way towards determining the course of the rest of your life. That is why there is so much discussion in this section.

I got a 2160 my first time without practice. It was a fairly dumb move on my part. I'm aiming for 2300+ now that I have significantly studied and done much better on practice tests.

Well, I took them freshman year (as you might remember) and did satisfactorily. If I do decide to retake (which I almost surely will), it'll probably be January or March.

No one in CC (hopefully) discriminates individuals based solely on test scores. So you don't have to worry about "feeling stupid around here."

^The first thing that people look at to initially determine your qualifications is the SAT.
