Significant Drops in SAT scores?

Hey everybody,

So here's the deal. I got a 780 on CR last month (-3). I'm retaking the SAT tomorrow because I totally hate my math and writing scores. But now I'm afraid of seeing a HUGE (as in, 40+ point) drop in CR. I just did a practice CR section and got FOUR out of 24 wrong. afsdkasjhjfhakfhahfk.....

So I'm just wondering, has anyone had a significant drop in score on any SAT section (especially critical reading)? I'm now EXTREMELY nervous about tomorrow's test...

As much as I think the above posters are complete elitists and kind of mean,they are somewhat right. All you can do is practice more, and hope for the best.

Gee, thanks. -__-

I don't know. I got an 80 on the PSAT CR, 780 this time on the SAT. Hopefully, this practice section was just a fluke. Hopefully. I sincerely hope this downward trend doesn't continue...

I am not a sat professional but the ppl above sound like real a-holes maybe that test was harder then the others it could also be the time difference some ppl take better tests in the morning some take better test due to more light in a room for example i took a practice course i couldn't take a test in a room with dim lights but in a room with bright lights i did amazing on there are a lot of factors don't stress if u got a 780 watch u do great and if u don't do that great u still have another try and 780 is amazing did u get 780 or 80 lol cuz i don't think u can get bellow 200 on any section

the first few were probably just messing around. often, practice tests are harder than the real ones. in barrons anyway.

@leva12
You really don't feel the sarcasm in their posts? They aren't "a-holes" but they are calling kh267 an a-hole for complaining. =.=
missing 1, or even 4, is good enough for any colleges.

^well, the poster feels bad because he's missing 4 on each section, and he feels like he can do better.
