What is a good score on Math II?

Many people have been saying since there's a huge curve on the SAT 2 Math 2 test, anything below an 800 is poor. I've been getting like 750 on Kaplan practice tests.

What's an acceptable SAT 2 score that I can send to colleges?

I want to be a biology major and I'm applying to Johns Hopkins, Cornell U, Reed, Wellesley, UCLA, Rochester U, U of Michigan, and Northwestern.

I'm expecting a 750 wouldn't cut it at schools like JHU or Cornell and maybe also UCLA, Michigan and Northwestern?

Anything other than 800 is garbage.

Seriously though, 750+ for top schools/ivies is basically assumed. I'm taking Math II today, and I have no idea what math even means. Guess I'll be retaking it along with Bio (another subject I have no clue about) in January.

Actually, Barron is much too difficult and doesn't reflect the real content of the test.

Useful for making you depressed, though.

Kaplan seems ridiculously easy. I got through the book in like two days. I was skipping all the questions with permutations because I hate those and there were a lot on practice tests. LOL I got the Barrons too, but not enough time to go through it.

Yes, that is funny and true. I really got depressed when I got a raw score in the low 30's on a Barrons test. I felt better when I tried a Sparknotes test and got an 800.

Most college adcoms have no clue about specific curves. They'll look at your Math 2 score in the same light as your other SAT 2 scores. A 790 on Math 2 will be considered a better performance than a 770 on Literature.

I used Barron's and got an 800 after studying for like 20 hours. I probably would have got like a 650 without it.
