A retake thread, but with a twist! 800 on Math IIC... should I retake?

No, I'm serious!

Here's why:

It costs $9 per each college you want to send SAT (both I and II) scores to.

So, if I wanted to send scores to four colleges, I'd be out 4 * $9 = $36.

However, if I were to retake my 800 Math IIC, I'd pay $18 base test fee + $9 subject test fee = $27, and I'd get to send my scores to four colleges for free!

That means I save $9 if I retake my 800 Math IIC, and I'll be in the .00000000001% of the population that has two 800s in Math IIC.

I might actually do this... somebody stop me.

you should retake. The gas would cover the costs + the books studying

compared to the possible 160,000 your going to be shelling out for college...the nine dollars is almost pathetic to even consider.

To save 9 bucks you're going to put yourself through an hour of testing + studying. That's a cheapskate if I've ever seen one.

I vote no.

I really hope they retake the test, and get a lower score...for a "math whiz" they have no common sense

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaaha. I'm glad I woke up early to this refreshing bit of entertainment!

Are you really concerned about the $9, or do you want a little something to boost your pride even more? Congrats on the 800, but seriously...
