Dec.2 Sat Ii French Thread

So...you've all survived the French exam. What do you think? How well do you think you did? Share what you remember from it so we can all talk about it and find out (estimate) our scores wayyyy before the real thing comes out!

I'll start - I thought the vocab was hard, but the passages were okay. I wasn't sure about the passage on the 19th century French villages though. The questions were like:
-what did young people today want?
-what merit did 19th century villages have?
.......

It's very generous (-10 is typically an 800)

like -18 or something in that realm. I'm positive about the -10, though. When I took it, I missed 8 and still got an 800.

I don't know if I answered to many wrong questions. In general, it was okay. I didn't understand very much the passage about the man and the light that passed beneath the door.

Yeah, the dude with the key stumped me as well. I was surprised by the difficulty of the test. Much of the vocab was new to me.

I didn't understand that passage either. The first sentence threw me off.

The test was soooo hard!!
In princeton review, I was able to skim past the first 20 pretty easily. In the real test, I was actually stumped on the first question!

I liked the advertisment one (the trip - hanging out with the elephants or something lol)

I missed like 20+. Im so sure I got half of the ones I did wrong.
Expecting below 500!!

For the travel ad, what was the trip intended to do? The answers were like:
- reading and thinking
- (something that I forgot) and eating
and I forgot rest answer choices....

Anyone remember that question and can provide me with a positive answer?

I took the French SAT II from the offical books the night before and it was definitely NOT as hard as the one I took today. I really hope theres a generous curve...

I could not understand what that door under light was talking about but I thought that he was trying to steal smething from the store and was escaping

Lubinli: The travel one was the elphant one right? it was somethign about a airplane trip "into nature" or something...
