SAT II Chem- different scores in different books

In a SAT II Chemistry practice test from Barron's, I got a 730 the first time around. In McGraw's, I got 790.

Which book tends to have more accurate tests? And is there anywhere on the internet I can find free SAT II Chemistry tests?

^ If that's true...thank the Lord! My teacher hasn't covered 25-33% of curriculum and I got a 670 woo (converted to ones I didn't know-like a 790!)

Based on your sample, and a p-value of .2353, we will fail to reject the null hypotheses. There isn't sufficient evidence to show a significant change between the 2 tests.

so PR is most accurate? what about Kaplan? or Sparknotes?

what do you guys think about the timing? 85 questions in 60 minutes. I'm always so pressed for time.

McGraw Hill has harder tests, which is why you should continue with it and finish it. By the way, I'm using the same book, and I just got an 800 on a practice test.

I just took a Kaplan Practice Test for Chemistry. Actually, I took one this afternoon (before skimming the book), and I got a 780. Then I studied all afternoon and took another one (Kaplan still) just a while ago, and I got a 660! I don't understand. Are Kaplan tests accurate? Because I'm freaking out now.

Kaplan's are generally easier, but they fluctuate quite a bit.

yea i'm using kaplan and i've been fluctuating....no studying got a 760, with...700...so i think preparation will pay off but the practice tests may not reflect it.

which tests did you take? I got the 780 on Practice Test 3 (it's actually the second one, not counting the diagnostic), and 660 on Practice Test 2.

question though, does Kaplan realize that we're not allowed to use calculators on the test? some of the questions are ridiculous. does any one else think so?

when I took chem last year, I studied mostly from Mcgraw Hill and some from kaplan. the kaplan tests were harder than the mcgraw hill ones, I found, but both were harder than the actual test. my highest chem score was a 720 I believe on mcgraw hill, and I got a 750 on the actual test.

I just got a 710 on PR and you guys say that's pretty accurate. I'm really nervous now. I'm aiming for a 750+ on the real test.
