Will my scores be cancelled??

Today I was registered to take both the Math IC and Physics tests.

First I took Math, and the second test was physics. Math was easy, and I should do really well. With physics, when I started the test and realized I was going to bomb it I just erased everything on the page: all the answers, and the test number in the top right corner. Everything.

But then I heard that erasing responses on one test cancels all scores. I thought you could register for 2 subject tests and only take one on test day, which is essentially what I did. I need this math score for this fall when I start to apply to schools.

Anyone?

It'll be cancelled because you handed in your test during the two-test collection.

I was signed up for Lit and Math IIC. I took the Lit and then left. Will my Lit test be cancelled since I didn't take the Math IIC? (I didn't sit for 2 tests, I left when the first one was done.)

collegekid, your scores will be cancelled because you must tell the proctor that your calculator malfunctioned in order for them to just cancel the math.
and wilson, your scores will be cancelled too

the proctor told me not to take the exam and that i didn't need to do anything. i only wrote down Lit on the white card. She said that only the tests written down on the white card would be scored.

collegekid,
your scores will not be cancelled. My son has done the same thing twice-signed up for two but only took one. His score was not cancelled.

Both scores will be canceled.
The only way 1 will be canceled and not the other is if your calculator malfunctions you can drop a math grade.

grog is right... for instance if u r taking math II and bio and u take math but then turn ur test in (b4 the start of 2nd test) they will score math and not bio... however sitting the 2nd test portion and erasing answers for it will cancel both

yeah, you cancel all subject tests if you cancel one of them.

wilson1, unfortunately your math score will be cancelled. you can't sit in for the physics test and then decide not to have it scored without cancelling your math score as well.

if you didn't sit in for the second test and just didn't take it, you should be fine. the whole calculator malfunctioning thing is for people who took the math test along with other tests and found out that their calculator doesn't work but still wants the other tests to be counted.

If your score is canceled because you didn't fill out for 2nd page (providing you sat down for 2 tests) does the collegeboard think this as a cheating?

Collegekid's scores will NOT be canceled.. He didn't even start the math II, and left right after the first test.

my god, shut up already! Instead of debating with ourselves, you should do what I did and call the collegeboard before you took the test. as long as he told the proctor and left after the first test, his scores will NOT be cancelled. that was straight from the college board ladys mouth.

I'm also pretty sure that the proctor thing is a formality thing, too. If you just left before the 2nd test started, you're good to go.
