| Very, very little.
The Literature SAT II revolves around prose and poetry, whereas the SAT I CR covers art/science passages, minority passages, and other straightforward stuff.
Both tests require you to understand what's presented to you and choose the right answer.
The SAT II is far more difficult. Expect to do up to 100 points worse than how you did on the SAT I. |

| Do you suggest a reading list for me to take SAT II Literature.
I'm not American student, and I don't have a textbook. |

| I had a 130 point difference between CR and Lit SAT 2 (CR was the higher of the two) There are a number of poems (I think maybe 1/2 the passages were poems? Might be overestimating though) for the Lit SAT 2 (or there were when I wrote in Dec)...I'm not a huge fan of poems so... :P
I'm normally pretty good at reading comprehension type tests so I really didn't prepare at all for the Lit test, which was a bad idea (only skimmed through the review sections of the Kaplan book the night before) |

| I know a friend who scored 800 on CR and 700 on Lit.
Generally, in my opinion, it's a bad idea to take the Lit.
If you want to show off your comprehension and writing skills, take the AP English Literature: it's much, much easier. |

| 800 on both.
But that's not very helpful...mostly I'm just being obnoxious.
Seriously, though, Lit is harder and has a rough curve. I wouldn't recommend taking it unless you did very well in the SAT I CR. |

| Obviously it's a good idea to take sat ii lit if you really are good at it because, like you said, a lot of people who are generally good at reading comprehension can't handle higher level stuff and poetry analysis (which is what sat ii lit is) |

| 770 on CR, 800 on Lit. But I don't think they are anything alike. Lit is harder. (I know my scores don't agree with that statement, but it's true.) But a good way to find out for yourself is to look at the Lit prep books, take some practice tests and see how you do. |

| 800 CR, 670 Lit
Lit is significantly different. The poetry was what killed me. |
