hello! - is it okay not to take a math sat ii?

I realize this question has been posted before :S sorry if you guys have to answer it again!

I was wondering whether it's alright not to take a Math II, or do most universities prefer at least one math SAT II?

Thank you guys for ALL your help! It'll mean a lot.

It's really going to depend on the individual university's policy, and perhaps which area you are going into. Some universities don't care which SATIIs you take, as long as you take X number of them (usually 2) Some will specifically request at least one math, or one science, etc.

Most engineering/science majors are recommended to take math 2, and a science subject.

Otherwise, it doesn't really matter, unless your school recommends taking math.

Some schools (4 of the 6 I'm planning on applying to) don't care if you take SAT II's or not. The other 2 recommend taking 2, one in math, and one in another subject of your choice.
