I concur, but it was made infinitely more arduous for me by the presence of a love interest. What are the odds?

Haha, I came in WAY unprepared. I got a good score on the CR on the SAT (740) so I assumed Lit would have the same kind of questions.

Well, today I found out it doesn't. lol

So yeah, it was very hard.

I didn't discuss a specific question.

I don't think we're allowed to discuss specific questions yet.

I kept hearing it was hard so I took two practice tests last night and got an 800 and a 790. So I came in totally confident and, for the most part, I left pretty confident. There were some hard passages, especially that stupid poem about the playwright, but I think I did really well.

It was average for me. The "author" poem was definitely the hardest though. I didn't know what was up with shakespeare at the end of it. All in all, I didn't think it was too bad, considering I didn't prepare at all (unless you count doing 10 practice questions on the collegeboard website).

However, for some reason, I finished with a ton of time to spare... like 15 minutes. That surprised me greatly, considering I'm generally a slow reader and test-taker. Not saying that means it was really easy, because I finished physics with only a couple minutes left, and I'm sure I did better on it. Still, quite strange.

Oops. I thought we could talk about it, since that Chemistry SAT II thread is discussing it like crazy. Can a mod edit my post? When can we talk about the test?

I used Kaplan (a tiny bit) and CB's big book. I got like a 740 or something on the CB test, and never finished a Kaplan test, but I got lots wrong on the Kaplan practice. So I was prepared for the difficulty, but I still don't think I did well. I hope I got at least a 730 or above!

Oh, what did people put for #53- the first one on the last passage where you had to match a rhyming couplet with the epitome of the passage or whatever? I think I chose the one about the flower smelling worse than the weeds.

did that answer actually talk about flowers smelling worse than weeds? I remember that answer choice but I don't remember it saying that. Thus, I chose a different answer. (I forget what it was)
