2 birds one stone: high school exams and subject tests?

I am not doing great in my high school chemistry course, so I need to do well on the final exam. SAT II's are the weekend after my finals. Should I take a Chemistry subject test so I can spend this month preparing for the subject test and at the same time preparing for finals. I don't think that I will have a lot of difficulty learning the material. I am currently enrolled in US History which I will also be taking. So, I am deciding between chemistry and math 1 (since i have not taken precalculus and only algebra 1 and 2 and geometry)

Should I take a course that I am good at/like more? or one that I need to know/probably looks more impressive to colleges?
