BREAKING NEWS! New Score Reporting Policy

"The College Board has approved an important change to the current SATŪ score-reporting policy. This new policy will give students the freedom to send the scores by sitting (test date) that they feel best represent their ability to colleges and universities in the application process. Designed to reduce student stress and improve the test-day experience, this new score-reporting feature will be "opt-in" and will first be available for students in the March 2009 administration at no additional cost to students."

I think some colleges will want students to report the whole testing transcript to prevent some test addicts who take SAT every time when it is held.

in a way i'm sort of glad the 09ers weren't offered this "new score sending policy." the old policy prevented us from wasting our time retaking and retaking. the new policy will just allow people to take SATs over and over again and pretend that they are mr./ms. perfect by only sending in the best score. :P IMO, with the old policy, getting a perfect on SATs the first time around = amazing accomplishment. not anymore.

sixthsense,

it seems that you will not be able to, because it seems to begin on the march 2009 administration of the sat i and ii.

So I'm class of 2010, and I've taken one SAT II and I'll take a couple more after March 2009. So if I submit SAT scores, I'm required to submit the score of the one I've already taken but can not send in the other two?

i'm a little confused. so if you already took some sat ii's, you can't pick and choose. but if you take them after mar 2009 you can????

it's just all too confusing.
