Sparknotes Tests!

I am releived to hear that the tests on sparknotes are an accurate indication. I thought the questions on Sparknotes for SAT 2 Math 1 and 2 were easire than the actual ones on the test.
Thank You James Ford.

Is it better to review from one book or several? I'm terrible at math and I just want to be as prepared as I can be.

How much harder are the tests in the Barron's Math IIC review book than the Math IIC SAT II test itself? I'm curious because I was never able to take Pre-Calculus in my previous three years of high school (stupid state math courses...).

I'd recommend first working through PR and then Barrons.

If you can score in the 600s on Barrons, you're on your way to high 700s/800 on the real deal.

^ Not necessarily - my "average" barron's score was about a 680 - and I got a 700 on the real thing. Now I did make numerous silly mistakes on the real thing, and I did get 790, and 800 on CB's practice test, but I wouldn't say a 6something on barron's guarantees much as far as the real test is concerned.

I never said that anything would be guaranteed.

If you can score a 680 on Barron's, you're most likely capable of an 800.

Yeah I didn't mean to say you were wrong or anything - I just wanted to make sure people don't get overconfident because of "good" scores on Barron's tests

wow thanks for that post. I'm taking the SAT2 next week. I've taken precalc, and I'm in calc bc now, but I haven't started studying yet. Hopefully I can study intensively this week.
and those calculator tricks were really helpful.
