I think this might be the last question that I had: did the writers of the DOI feel that local government had legitimate power or was it the King George option?

Yea, 54-40 or fight!

The other was Republican. I don't remember the choices for the Tonkin one, but I think I put the one you're talking about.

DOI:

I vaguely remember it, but I think it was the legitimate government one.

Wasn't the question something about the Kansas-Nebraska Act (political parties)?

Philippines were won by force, right?

Yes - Philippines and Puerto Rico by force.

EDIT: Wow, that was awfully redundant.

Shays rebellion's causes did not include more paper money, right?

"After fewer than nine hours of committee consideration and floor debate, Congress voted, on August 10, 1964, on a joint resolution which authorized the president "to take all necessary steps, including the use of armed force, to assist any member or protocol state of the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty requesting assistance in defense of its freedom."

I think that was choice A.

I thought that the odd one out was overthrowing the government. I had it down to paper money and overthrowing the government, but I think that the farmers merely wanted to keep their homes and therefore blocked the courthouse.
