Best way to prepare?

I'll go to my local Booksamillion and read Collegeboard' book, but will doing an in depth study of PR and Barron's review be somewhat good enough? I don't NEED subject tests, but want to sort of try my luck because they could help me. I got 35 on ACT math, what could that be on Math II if I've completed PreCalculus?
