When to take SAT II Chem?

I'm currently enrolled in Chemistry Honors, using the Zumdahl Chemistry Book, which is a relatively famous advanced chemistry textbook. I'm assuming most of you have used or know of this textbook. We're learning the first half of the book this year in Chemistry Honors, and then completing the second half of it in AP Chemistry (if we continue to do it next year). Should I do my subject test in Chem after taking AP Chem, or is honors chem sufficient? The only problem is that at the end of this year, I'm taking Math II and that at the end of next year, I'm doing US H and Chemistry. So I'd be pretty crammed, assuming I have to retake any of those. Any thoughts?

If you are taking AP Chem next year, then take it after AP Chem. If you are not taking AP Chem, then take it after Chem Honors.

Friend's son took it after Chem Honors because he wasn't goint to take AP Chem. He found out that there are a few topics that are in the SAT Chem test but are not covered in his Chem Honors class. He self studied those topics.

My son took it after AP Chem and he thought 2 years of chem really helped.

You need to study for the AP Chem test anyway so do the SAT Chem test around the same time. Even though the test formats are different, you study the same material.
