Listening Test Strategies?

When it comes to the listening part where you hear a few selections and then answer a few questions about each one, how do you go about answering the questions?

Like do you listen to the selection in its entirety and then try to answer the questions from what you remember? Or do you quickly look at the questions before the selection begins and then answer the questions as you go along listening, while paying attention to any words that appear in the answer choices?

Any help/advice/whatever is appreciated.

For me it helped that I checked the questions real quick before the speakers started the dialog because that way I knew what to be on the lookout for in the text. Most of what they say matters of course and there's barely excess of information but if you know exactly what you're hunting for I think it makes it easier. Its like checking your answers in advance.

Thanks for the advice... that's what I was originally planning to do.

Anyone else?
