holdup, nvm i think it was nuclear transformation. damn. 1 wrong, 2 blank already. what is the standard curve for this exam?

So ammonia does not have an odor? The last question was 13kJ get released in the formation of water, how much energy is evolved in the process? Something like that.

Carbon is the conductive solid. I put that it did not take into account the minus two charge because the top oxygen was missing two electrons, but I was iffy on that one.

yeah positron decay wasn't an option but since positrons have no mass (relatively) isn't that not fission but some sort of nuclear process (hence nuclear transformation).

carbon conducts electricity in some forms.

I also was no sure about the lewis dot one being incomplete. it was some element starting with a B linked to 3 oxygens. the top one had a double bond, and the oxygen also showed 4 electrons (2 pairs) but none at the top. the right and left oxygens both had 6 other electrons but had only single bonds to the central atom. and the whole thing was encased in brackets with a superscript -2.

i guessed on the answer with sumthing about 2 things missing.

13*18 right?

13 KJ per gram. 1 mol of water has 18 grams. so 13*18

@ stix2400 - two resonance structures for incomplete Lewis
sucrosesolution is not volatile.
hcl dissolves completely.
ch3oh is the polar molecule.
ccl4 is nonpolar liquid.
nh3 creates weak base.
crucible is not needed for titration
9 moles of 02 in one of the combustion equations.
for some reason i also remember 0.0500 times 6.02 times 10^23 (1.12 liter thing at STP)

last question answer was 230 kJ (13 times 18)
there was a question with multiple proportions theorem involved. something with Fe and O and diff compounds with them.
0.01 molar of nacl creates neutral 7 pH solution because of equal amounts of H30+ and OH-.

one of the questions also involved an answer that was like " <7 ph"

oh wait...

I can't believe... I misread the 1.12 Liter thing. NO! That was an easy question and I missed it.

what about the question about saturated NaCl solution? What happens if you add more NaCl?

Ammonia does have an order(and it's really really strong)... The sugar one didn't...

Stix, I said the concentration would stay the same...

and yes Feynman

i don't think I have almost any mistakes i just wish i went faster grr... =/ im gonna end up getting like 50ish correct and like 20 blanks..

btw why cant ch3oh be the weak base? im prob just mixing it up with acetic acid though.

yeah ch3oh was a diff question i think. ch3oh is an alcohol...it was the polar molecule.

there was a question about something that had covalent and ionic bonds it was like "NH4Br" or something.
