Hey, I was interested in getting a Nursing degree a couple years back, but after having worked in that environment for awhile I realized it wasn't for me.
You may be interested in Nursing (since you enjoy Biology) but there's a lot of competition. Going down the Associates route you can pass your NCLEX-RN exams and become a nurse. Bls.gov and Monster Salary may have you believe the average salary is $60k plus but the majority of the nurses I have met make between $40K and $60k depending on experience and setting (hospitals pay a lot more than nursing homes).
Occupation Finder : Occupational Outlook Handbook : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
This is a very informative resource where you can look at particular professions and the their job growth/market factors/degree required. Requires a bit of sifting through but I am certain you'll be fine. Best of luck!
