Completely self study APES?

Hi guys, I was considering self studying for AP chem but after hearing several people's opinion on the matter, I gave up on it. I've heard that AP Environmental Science is doable and can be self studied, but I really want to make sure! I have taken regular bio and am now in honors chemistry. I don't have the APES class in school so I would solely use a book to guide me through the concepts. Do you think I can manage to self study APES? I would really, really appreciate any answers!

Yeah, it's definitely doable. I did it last year, I just read over Barron's a few times in the month before the test and looked at the FRQ's online, easy 5.
