Conditional Appointment

Hey all, I was wondering what they meant by conditional appointment on the website. As of right now, I haven't sent in my college transcript yet nor anything as a matter of fact. Still waiting on word for a nomination. It says, "your final appointment will depend on your medical qualifications and our receiving a satisfactory college or preparatory school transcript," that means securing a nomination as well right?

Another question is since I went to college this year, I studied the prep school website and took classes that best replicated (but not exact) the courses prep school cadets would take (i.e. Chemistry, Algebra, History, Chem Lab, and English) and am earning a 3.4 GPA. Will I still need to retake the ACT's and get high scores to even be considered? Thanks!
