Spring Awakening!

We just found out this past week that a boy in my class (class of 2010) has been cast as either Georg or Otto for the 1st National Equity Tour of "Spring Awakening"!!! His name is James Hayden Rodriguez (or known to us as Jim or Jimbo)!

They are not sure who he is going to be, but he is guranteed to be one of them!!!

It's so exciting!! wootwoot. Betta get it!

Spring Awakening Tour

That's fantastic! Will he leave Shenandoah or take a leave of absence? How does that work?

He will be taking a leave of absence to perform in the national tour. He will be leaving in July I believe and he is contracted for about 75-80? weeks. I want to say it's something like that. But if you can keep working and keep building up your resume, I say perform away! You can always go back to school. Those great oppurtunities don't come all the time.

Jealous!

I am SOOO jealous. But also very impressed! He's totally living the dream... hope he knows how fortunate he is!

I'm a junior in High School right now researching colleges... Shenandoah is high on my list of hopefuls!!

Spring Awakening has definitely cared about its fans out there and it makes me so happy that they are giving so many students amazing opportunities. We have had student after student at callbacks in NYC, Chicago and Washington DC for SPRING AWAKENING and all of them have had amazing learning experiences. It does us proud that one of our classmates will become equity and have this amazing opportunity while just out of his sophomore year at college!
