As a reminder, our College Reps are individuals that we have taken reasonable steps to verify as being from the school they represent. (If you find a CC member claiming to be an admissions person at a college and that member isn't flagged as a College Rep, please let us know so that we can verify his/her status.)

As an matter of courtesy to our College Reps (who have real-world jobs and are incredibly busy during the admissions season!), please don't post pleas for help naming the individual (e.g., "Hey WhySkidmore - Need Answer ASAP!!!" is what NOT to do - ask your question in a new thread with a clear and specific title, and you'll get input from CC members and, perhaps, from the resident College Rep if he/she has something to contribute.)

I love Skidmore and have fond memories of my first college overnight there in the fall of 1967, when I was 16 and the new campus really was brand new.

40+ years later, Saratoga is still one of my favorite college towns. So I'm glad to have you on CC ... welcome!

Love Skidmore! I grew up in Schenectady and have fond memories of days spent in Saratoga. (Working on my kids to consider Skidmore for their list. We still have family in the area. Will PM you with 2 Skidmore questions.)

I went to Skidmore and graduated in 1983! I was a nursing major and had a wonderful experience in their amazing NYC dorm! Too bad the nursing program was closed. It was a great career path for me. Any thoughts on trying to bring it back?
