Quick Supplement Question.....would appreciate advice

So I am currently finishing up my "What's the relevance of an all female school?" supplement for ED, and I like my response a lot. The only issue is it's crazy long (over 400 words), when the Common App only allows for 150. I got the impression that if I sent my supp. separately they would still read it, but I'm not looking to inconvenience them. Assuming that essays are a real strength for me, should I cut it down to size or seperately send the long (but good) one? Thanks!

if it's supposed to be 150 words, you should cut it down to be 150 words, painful though it may be.
