Hunt and Presidential Scholarships

SMU is right at the top of my college list. However, the cost may be too high unless I receive substantial scholarship assistance.

Any input from the community if applying for the Hunt Scholarship decreases the chance of being chosen as a candidate for the Presidential Scholarship? I know that individuals are only eligible to interview for one or the other.

I also received conflicting information from the school on the Second Century Scholarship. One person relayed that the scholarship is "stackable" with others scholarships up to the amount of tuition and fees; the other relayed that was the case with all accept the Hunt.

If you receive Hunt or Prez you cannot "stack" your second century scholarships on top of that. If you receive a departmental/college scholarship you can stack that on to second century.

The apps are considered by different groups so I wouldn't worry about that at all. Feel free to private message me with any specific questions you may have about it.
