3 books mailing

I still haven't gotten the "3 books mailing," which was supposed to be mailed out last week. Anyone else in the same boat?

Also, do we have to "read" the 3 books? Since they're up for discussion, can we simply skim them or read their summaries if we aren't too interested? Thanks.

You don't have to. The only stuff that pertains at all to the books is a talk in the auditorium where a professor talks to the authors and you just listen. And then after that you go back to your dorm and everyone discusses the books.

But you can easily just stay quiet and not read the books. It really isn't a big deal.

i haven't gotten mine either...i mean, i DID recently move, but i changed my address in axess way back in the middle of june (i think the 17th, to be precise).
haha, right now, i'm so bored, i probably would read the books, even if they were crap (i sincerely hope they aren't, though)
how were the books mailed again (ie, regular USPS, or ups, or fedex, etc)?

Lol I'm very behind on my readings; then again, the books are all pretty short. Still, they don't suit my taste, so don't feel like reading them.

Got mine today. (!) Anyway, I deferred. A Hundred Demons is a crazy piece indeed.
