football games at stanford?

some of my friends starting fresh year at Cal tell me they got free student football passes for the coming year which is supposedly very helpful bc the game tix are pricey...

do we have to pay for each football game ticket/ are there student benefits in that area in any way that I don't know about?

Each Stanford student (not just freshmen...) gets free admission to the Stanford home football games and Big Game (@ Cal this year).

If you're interested in the other sports, you can get a 6th man club membership (admission to all Men's Basketball home games, and some tickets available for nearby road games as well) for $65 (I think that's what it was last year...) or you can get an "All-Axess" Pass for $75, which includes admission to every Stanford home game in ALL sports (a pretty nice deal if you're into sports)
