First, this is the wrong thread to post this in.

Anyways, could you get in? Yes. Will you get in? I don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if you were rejected or accepted. Admissions at top schools are a crapshoot. If you want to see stats of acceptees (including myself ), check the decision threads.

You'd think that the future salutatorian would figure out how to use this website properly. JK, kind of.

Also, my advice is to do activites based on your interests, not on what you think colleges want to see. You don't "need to get working on more" volunteering. You should WANT to get more volunteer experience to help others and gain life experience, not to get into colleges. Do you see the key distinction?

Cubing? Is that with a Rubix's cube? If it is, you wouldn't be able to find any opportunities for volunteering, but you could start a club at school for Rubix cubers (if not enough people sign up, which is likely, just change the club to academic games or something-soduku, crosswords, Rubix cubes, scrabble, chess, whatever).

As far as finding volunteer stuff to fit your interests, don't you have other interests besides cubing? Do you like teaching academics, cooking, fixing things, filing papers, driving, etc.? Two of my major interests are golf and teaching, so I volunteered at First Tee, where I taught kids how to play golf. Can you find something like that?

I think they have a tutoring for like 8th graders in like math etc, my friend is going to do it so probably I'll tag along. Also I was thinking about a club, What would teach/do that would cause interest. I would start it next year though ( I need to do some summer things, i have to think).

Edit: Maybe we could do a thing like the fastest would win a prize and some for a charity. I don't know thanks for giving me ideas.
