Hey guys, so printing's 10 cents per page in the dorm, and I'm thinking about investing in a printer. Is it cheaper to print at that cost, or is it cheaper to get my own printer/paper/ink? If the latter is true, then what printers would you recommend? Thanks.

Depends on how many pages you think you're going to print. You can get a decent printer for about $40. Thats the same as printing 400 pages. Also remember that if you get a printer you also have to get the cartridges.

I bought my own printer..and am very glad I did. I generally print a lot anyway, but most of my roommates complain about having to pay for every page. Some majors allow their declared undergrads to have a couple hundred pages of free printing per quarter though.
