Transfer eligibility?

Hi
I am an international student (I live in Peru), and I will be applying to Stanford for transfer admission (yes I know it is extremely competitive, but I will give it a try).
I have looked at their website and even written to their admissions office but I still have not an accurate response for my transfer eligibility situation, so I would like to know if any of you has some knowledge about it.
I have studied for 1.5 years at a peruvian university. I have been admited to an american university as a transfer student and will be attending this fall, besides that I still want to apply for something better. If I study there for one more year, I would have 2.5 years of previus college study by the time I may enter Stanford IF I am admited. Would that exceed any credit limit? On their website it says that all student must complete at least 2 years of complete study at the university, which I am more than willing of doing so (even spending 3 o 4 years there). I have written to their admissions office, but they answer other questions I am asking and refer me to their website, so I would like to know other opinions.
I am decided to apply, but I only want to know if they will consider my application given my situation.
