@pitabread, where did you find that stat? Just wondering because I'd like to know if my state is underrepresented in the acceptance pool.

Wow, this is great, thanks! Turns out I'm not from an underrepresented area... But that's ok.

20-28 days to go!

hey, fyi:
my parents are stanford alums. They just got a letter from stanford talking about how they shouldn't send hate mail if I don't get in. The interesting bit was this line, though:
"Applicants will be informed of their decision after 3 pm (pacific time) on December 14."
just thought y'all might be interested.

Thanks for the link, wildcat0. It's really interesting to so.

I personally thought more people would come from Oregon (my home state) and Nevada. Any other Oregonians on here?

My state is in the second tier (6-15 acceptances)

@alegollama... that's funny haha. Hopefully we get them earlier than Dec. 14!

Has anyone seen any reports released by Stanford saying how many people applied SCEA this year? A lot of other schools, such as Yale, have already released these statistics.

I'm not sure how I feel about this -- the school I want to go to (Stanford) just crushed the football National Championship dreams of one of my state's teams (U of O).

I'm glad I can add yet another dimension, sports, to a forum dominated by academics. xD Have a good night, everybody!
