Good SAT II scores and bad SAT I scores

i am wondering can a really good performance on three SAT II subject tests (2300+ total) help overcome a bad performance on the SAT I (2000 total)?

thanks.

yeah, SATs don't count for much in college admissions. I think once you get past like 2100-2200 it's all the same.
I think if you are rich and go to a private school and live in a nice area the standards are higher though

no, well... think about it this way: it's probably easier to study for SATIIs rather than the SATI.... and they're looked at slightly differently. Of course a slightly weaker SATI won't break your admissions; you're looked at holistically, and it's great that you have strong SATIIs... just keep in mind that there are other people out there with perfect SATI and IIs. damn superhumans.

good luck!!
