ECs listed on app: state champs in field hockey/lacrosse, lots of recognition in field hockey, also state champ in debate, model un organizer, and various leadership positions.
Essays (subject and responses): it was heartfelt and I tried to exchange a major event/turning point in my life.
Teacher Recs: good, but the best thing was a recommendation from my debate coach.
Counselor Rec: well-written, a great commendation.

  • Fee Waiver Used?: Yup. The only one I used... got some help from my GC.
  • SAT I (by section): 770 Critical Reading, 800 Math, 800 Writing (12 Essay)
  • SAT IIs: 800 Chem, 790 Math IIC, 740 Bio M
  • GPA, Weighted and Unweighted: 3.98 UW, 4.29 W (school adds .5 for Honors and AP)
  • Rank: Somewhere between 2 and 5 out of 360
  • APs (including this year's): 8 classes, 12 exams total
  • Senior Yr Courseload: Pretty much the toughest possible
  • Number of Apps from Your School: 4 (1 person got in as far as I know)
  • Other stats (Awards, etc.): NMF, AP Scholar w/ Distinction, some other stuff

Congratulations to everyone who got in!!! I was waitlisted but won't end up taking a spot (already pretty much decided where I'm going). But again, congrats to everyone!! I'm absolutely thrilled for all my friends that got in - you guys should all be proud of yourselves
