Yeah, but why would you be sponsored -allowed access to create an email address and anything else with a stanford identity -if you haven't accepted an offer?

Even admitted students might not have decided they want to go to stanford.

So I'd imagine you'd get "sponsored" once you commit.

That's from an accepted students thread. Clearly this guy is talking about a page we aren't seeing, and another person wrote
"No; making your SUNETID does not mean your going," which means that all admitted students can make ids

ok, this is rediculous. Have any of the admitted people been able to use their ID's to access SUNET??

i think what I saw on SUNet ID was some crap... typed in a bogus name and out in my birthdate and gender and saw the same thing as when i typed in my real name
