awww good luck to everyone still waiting that's horrible...

i got mine yesterday at 4:15 PM stanford time. rejected, just RD.

This is truly dreadful. My heart goes out to all of you who are still waiting. I hope a Stanford Adcom is monitoring this board and is becoming aware of how painful this email fiasco is for students who are waiting. I am frankly appalled that a top tech university in the heart of Silicon Valley has such inadequate IT infrastructure brought to bear on this problem.

so apparently my spam guard was on (yahoo mail) and i had the setting so that any message identified as spam would be automatically deleted...seems like Stanford mail has been identified as spam by some accounts. check if you guys have that setting...or try to contact Stanford via email guys...as for now, TURN OFF SPAM GUARD!!! and i'll just pray for a letter in my mail...

koolkat- my yahoo mail was set so that spam/bulk was automatically deleted too. Though I didnt realize this until yesterday nite, so I turned it off. But no email yet. So either it was deleted yesterday afternoon or I haven't gotten it at all. Oh the agony!!

Anyway, so yeah, defer-->rejection. I'm ok with it, though, and basically expected it. I was 8 for 8 before this (in or LL at Duke, Columbia, Rice, Cornell, Olin, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, and Ohio State) so I really can't complain. Waiting on HYP, so we'll see! I'd like to think it was because Stanford didn't get my really good essay since it wasn't written at SCEA time.... but who knows? lol, top college admissions... you really can't dwell on them. Good luck to those still waiting, and sincere congrats to those accepted!!!

Hmmm...looks like 40 pages and not a single admit. As far as I know, there is an admit quota, so it looks they admited more than expected from the RD round and is now mass rejecting the leftover SCEA deferrals. Although, if they're procrastinating this much, there must still be some spots left. Have hope and gl to you all.
