| My son is using his school's email, and two of his classmates got reject email Friday. He is RD and still waiting. |

| Yeah, one of my friends got his rejection email Friday about 6:30, and he sent in his application to Stanford after I did. I just use a private email through my internet carrier, and I've checked my spam folder and still nothing from Stanford. I'm RD also. |

| No, my email is through my work -- and I've received other letters from Stanford just fine. I think they just failed to send mine. |

| Those who are RD and are still waiting - did you check to see if you provided your correct email address (CommonApp)? |

| So, Monday morning, the original deadline and I still haven't received the letter. That's that. Stanford just forgot to send my decision. Kind of irritating, but they're still abiding by their original deadline -- but there was no sense making me anxious over the weekend. |

| Have they issued any statements yet as to what happened? I'm RD and about 99.9% sure I was rejected. |

| All right, so an update on everything:
I called the admissions office at 8:30 PT and talked with an admissions officer. They have made no official statement on what went wrong, but the man I talked to on the phone simply asked for a few simple details from me and said that they would resend the decision and that I'd receive it before 5 PM PT.
Their phone lines are jammed full right now, so my guess is they're feeling the pain from whatever did go wrong on Friday. |

| Apparentlly the US Mail is faster than email. While my son (RD) is still waiting for the decision email, he just got US Mail (waitlisted). |

| It's a bit irritating that, even after calling early this morning, I still haven't received the email after them resending. What time did you call in Tobman? |

| Bit irritating? You're being too nice.
This is unreal.
Never expected this from Stanford.
Since they are not sending out paper rejection letters, if you don't receive a rejection e-mail, potentially, you don't get to find out unless you call.
That really sucks. |
