Have to agree with Dukebluedevils here. "Ok, I picked Stanford. I hope I picked the right choice. So is Stanford really a prestigious school and is well known? Does it carry the same prestige as Harvard and Yale?"...this has to be flame. Sounds like this person only got in ucsd. And its disbelief rather than elitism. How can this person be in Cali, heard of Harvard and Yale and not know about Stanford's excellence?

And to those who ACTUALLY think this person is clueless and not just flaming, consider the fact that the poster posted this weeks before this thread:

"I think because it's public so people don't see it as elite as HYPS." in regards to a Berkeley thread.

Sounds like this thread was total flame.
