CA Asian Male
I heard the Asian male applicant pool is UNBELIEVABLY competitive. Is it somewhat helpful to be a CA resident?

I doubt it -- if anything, I'd think it would hurt, just because Stanford does want to have geographic diversity... sorry.

There isn't an Asian male applicant pool per se. The applicant pool includes a large number of Asian males, and yes, it's extremely competitive.
