Usually in my posts I try to say my opinion and then come up with an axiom for it, but in this case I'm freaking out! I checked Axess today and they still haven't processed my ACT scores. I usually try to act calm and maintain this appearance of being sagacious, but right now I feel like a scared helpless child! They have received everything except my test scores apparently but I sent all my stuff on October 14! What should I do? Panic, roll around in fetal position, or just wait a little longer, but how long?

Sent my SCEA application to Stanford too, interview on Tuesday... lol I really hope it goes well
Divvio - don't worry about it, my scores just processed yesterday even though they got sent in last month. If they don't get your scores by the 17th, you can also send them again

Do we have to send in our AP/IB scores? I already listed what I got in my application
If so, how do we send in IB scores?

From what I've read, you only need the self-reported for those. I'm 100% on that for AP, but I don't have any experience with IB. I would assume it's the same, though.
You do end up sending them after you've been confirmed acceptance.

How are you guys doing on your other applications?
Both in filling them out and submitting them...
Personally, I really don't want to spend the money to submit anything else until I've confirmed rejection from Stanford... App fees are expensive.
Also, I'm embarrassed to admit the entire prospect of an interview terrifies me horribly and I've been putting off reserving one MIT says you have to do it by Dec 10th... So darn close to SCEA decisions!! Not fair! Push that back a week, MIT, daggumit!
I have to submit the UCs and Harvard(priority deadline) before decisions are out, but everything else will pretty much be afterwards.

^What's a priority deadline?
Also, I can't decide if this is inspirational or not, but a friend of mine got deferred -> rejected from Stanford SCEA last year but then got accepted to Harvard RD. |

Honestly? Not sure. Collegeboard website thing says on my little calender -- "12/01 - Harvard C: Priority application deadline." I don't know if this is just outdated from their old days of having early apps, but at any rate, I plan on applying there whether or not I get into Stanford anyway, so might as well have it done by then. (Though I'm 90% sure I'd choose Stanford anyway.)
Some colleges have priority deadlines for sake of scholarship considerations, but I doubt that's the case for H.
So, I dunno!

Priority deadlines usually refer to scholarship consideration deadlines (Ex. USC). But I know for Harvard, it's just when they officially start going through applications. With schools that get tens of thousands of applications, they like to space them out a little bit and priority deadlines help. Also, they help for interview scheduling purposes.
KevRus-- thats inspiring for people who would rather go to Harvard
But it's not surprising. At my school, our Stanford admit rate is 11%, and our Harvard one is 16% so I feel like I'm more likely to get the axe from Stanford (hahaha pun totally intended).

This is sorta out of topic, but there's a red star on the globe shaped icon next to this forum title when you click the Stanford page and you see the list of forums. What does that actually indicate, a popular forum?

^It just means you've posted on that particular thread. If you hover your moose over the read star, it should show you how many times you have posted on that particular thread.

...which will undoubtedly be the 38 longest days of my life. Even with basketball to distract me.

I have five different countdowns in my planner. One listing the number of days left, one listing the number of school days, one listing the number of weeks, one where I can cross out a day at a time, and one thermometer-style chart with markers for every five days and every 25%. Of course, this is more a product of my boredom in class than my anxiousness, but... :P
